#Voices of Travel: Business in a Post-virus World
The travel and tourism industry worldwide is facing an unprecedented tragedy with the outbreak of COVID19. How are travel businesses reacting? In this series, hear it all from the people that matter. Dinesh Jain, CEO, New Jolly Tours & Travels tells us:
The current Coronavirus situation is very bad and it has indeed affected a lot of people. The impact of Coronavirus has been felt by everyone involved in travel. Getting refunds from airlines is very difficult but customers want an immediate refund. Recovering costs are high.
That said, I am hopeful that after the pandemic gets over, the business will boom. We will be able to recover costs. We feel in future we will have a sudden rise in demand for outbound travel. Airlines will give better deals, we will make better packages.
We don’t know when we will come out of the dark but we are hopeful. Don’t worry, the travel industry will boom and we will recover our losses. Please stand with your travellers and your industry peers. We’re in this together!
