Brazil sees an increase in Chinese tourist arrivals
Brazil saw a 6% increase in tourist arrivals from China, which is about 61,000 in 2017.
Chinese travellers are among the largest to travel around the world and are also the highest spenders with USD 258 billion last year.
Last year, Brazil received about 6,588,770 international visitors in total, which is 6% higher than tourist arrivals during Olympic Games and World Cup.
China and Brazil have entered into an agreement to facilitate visas for both the countries to boost tourism flow between the countries.
Brazil expects about 90,000 Chinese tourist arrivals in 2022.
