Andhra Pradesh Government partners with IndiGo to introduce international services from Vijayawada
In a collaborative endeavour to provide air connectivity between Vijayawada and Singapore, IndiGo operated the first international flight from Vijayawada jointly with the Andhra Pradesh Government. As part of the strategic partnership between the two, the low-cost airline operates two weekly non-stop services between Vijayawada and Singapore from December 2018. The first flight flew out of Vijayawada International Airport on December 4, 2018.

The flight will depart from Singapore at 14.00 hrs and arrive at Vijayawada at 16.15 hrs, while it will depart from Vijayawada at 18.20 hrs and arrive at Singapore at 01.45 (+1) hrs. The new flight services will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The new flights are designed to cater to business and leisure travellers from Vijayawada, who are constantly on the lookout for new and affordable flying options.
