Qatar Tourism organises roadshow in India for the first time
Qatar Tourism, for the first time, organised roadshow in India in Mumbai and Delhi last week. More than 10 participants were a part of this roadshow who showcased the attractions of Qatar, hotels and various packages. Qatar International Adventures, The Ritz Carlton Doha, Radisson Blu Hotel Doha, Sheraton Grand Doha, The Torch Doha, FAL Travelmart, Mondrian Doha, Travel Designer, 365 Adventures, St. Regis Doha, Grand Hyatt, Hotel Crowne Plaza were some of the participants at the roadshow.
Along with India, Russia, China and Lebanon too are new destinations for Qatar, and to promote tourism, Qatar had recently made visa free-on-arrival for 80 countries.
With FIFA 2022 scheduled to take place in Qatar, the country is expecting to emerge as one of the top destinations. A stadium to accommodate about 85,000 people is being built in Qatar for FIFA 2022.
Qatar majorly receives stop-over visitors and hence is promoting as one of the ideal stop-over destinations.
Desert safaris, beaches, city tours, museums, Banana Island and shopping are some of the main tourist attractions in Qatar.
