Meliá Melaka is the new hotel with a panoramic view of Malay Peninsula in the centre of Melaka. Managed by the Meliá Hotels & Resorts brand and owned by Haleton Group, a leader in Malaysia’s property development, investment and asset management industry, the hotel is scheduled to open in 2020. This marks the group’s fourth property in Malaysia, and its first entry into Melaka.

Meliá Melaka will offer 250 rooms of different options including standard, supreme and deluxe. The property, with a Sky Pool and a rooftop garden on the 28th floor will feature panoramic views of Malaysia Peninsula. The hotel is 30 minutes drive from Melaka International airport, and a short walk from renowned UNESCO heritage sites, such as St. John’s Fort, Jonker Walk, St. Paul’s Hill, Melaka River Cruise, Portuguese Square, Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum, Menara Taming Sari and Stadthuys.

In 2017, Meliá Hotels International will maintain its robust momentum in Asia, with 17 hotels currently in operation and the group is expected to have over 40 hotels by 2022.
