Oman conducts FAM trip for Indian travel agents

Ministry of Tourism of Oman recently conducted a familiarisation (FAM) trip for the Indian travel agents who got to witness the beauty of Oman. The group consisted of senior management from major Indian outbound tour operators from Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune and Delhi and was led by Lubaina Sheerazi, India Representative, Oman. The ground handling of the FAM was conducted by a leading travel agent based in Oman called Tour Oman.

The visit provided a great opportunity for travel agents to experience Oman’s stunning beaches, traditional culture, modern luxury, and the legendary Arabian hospitality in the various cities they visited like Muscat, Sur and Nizwa. They also got to experience luxury desert camping at Sharqiya sands and stayed in magnificent properties like Shangri La’s Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, Muscat.

Lubaina Sheerazi, India Representative, Ministry of Tourism, Sultanate of Oman said, “For the travel agents, Oman was a pleasant surprise and they loved the destination and the experiences it has to offer.
