Korean Air is expanding its ‘code-share agreement’ with Etihad Airways, to include the Middle-East and Africa. Since mid September, Korean Air has put its airline code –KE- on the Abu Dhabi-Johannesburg and Abu Dhabi-Muscat routes which are under Etihad Airways. Also, this code will include Abu Dhabi-Khartoum, upon Sudanese government approval.

This expansion enables passengers with greater choice and convenience. Furthermore, due to the Korean Air’s mileage partnership with Etihad Airways, Korean Air Skypass members can earn frequent flyer points with Etihad Airways.
