Vietnam emerges as a global tourism attraction

In the first eight months of 2017, Vietnam has seen more than 8.47 million foreign visitors as compare to same period of previous year.

In the month of August alone, about 1.2 million foreign tourists arrived Vietnam a monthly increase of about 18.5%. A total of 335.8 trillion VND in terms of revenue from tourists has been reported.

In order to attract more international tourists and to give them insights about tourism in vietnam, the tourism industry of Vietnam had launched many tourism promotion events in China and Australia.

Apparently, the month of August was the sixth month in year 2017 that Vietnam has been able to attract more than one million international travellers in a month.

Spots like Quang Binh, Tu Lan cave system, Son Doong cave, Phong Nha-Ke Bang are popular amongst international visitors and regarded as a hub for unique experiences in Vietnam.

According to the latest report by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), Vietnam was ranked 10th in the list of the emerging destinations popular among tourists all over the world.
