Guldeep Singh Sahni, President, Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Haitham Mattar, CEO, Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, Government of Ras Al Khaimah (RAKTDA) for a mega three-day Convention to be held in Ras Al Khaimah, the northernmost emirate of the UAE.
The Convention is slated from September 12-14, 2017 at Ras Al Khaimah, with approximate attendance of 250-300 delegation from Indian travel trade.
Speaking upon the announcement Sahni said, “We are really excited about having this Convention in Ras Al Khaimah that will add new product for the Indian tour operators offering a destination beyond Dubai in UAE. Our Indian partners are looking forward to this Convention and we hope for a long term association with RAKTDA.”
“It gives us immense pleasure to announce the hosting of OTOAI Convention in Ras Al Khaimah. We welcome the opportunity to strengthen our visibility among the Indian audience. India, being our fourth most significant international source market, is expected to be an important contributor to the emirate’s vision to attract one million visitors by the end of 2018,” said Mattar.
