Punjab famously referred to as ‘The land of five rivers’ is situated in the north-western part of India. The state of Punjab is renowned for its cuisine, culture and history. Some of the main cities are Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala, Pathankot and Ludhiana. The state of Punjab is participating in OTM 2017 to attract even more tourists by showcasing some of its newer destinations as well as what makes the state one of the most popular tourist spots in India.

Punjab Tourism has recently launched its various new products like Golden Temple Entrance Plaza, Partition Museum at Town Hall, War Heroes Memorial, Gobindgarh Fort, Hop on Hop off Buses, Amphibious Bus and Sadda Pind/Amritsar Heritage Village.”
