U.S. tourism up for 15th month in a row



For the 15th month in a row, international tourism to the U.S. went up in June to 5.3 million, a 7% increase from the same month last year.

According to the federal government’s Office of Travel and Tourism Industries, Canada and Mexico continued to be the top markets, up by 9% and 2% respectively. However, this year also saw visitor numbers from Brazil soar, with an increase of 13%.

New York is the top port entry for international visitors, and Miami the second, the data revealed.
