Incredible Rajasthan woos 30 international media from 10 countries









In line with the overall marketing efforts to present Rajasthan as a must-visit tourist destination for international tourists, the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan recently facilitated 30 journalists and bloggers from countries such as USA, Brazil, Spain, England, Poland, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, Sweden and Canada for a first-hand experience of the state tourism offerings.  

While 15 of the 30 members embarked on a journey across Rajasthan on the globally popular luxury train – Palace on Wheels, the other members experienced the incredible sights and sounds of places in and around Jaipur including an unforgettable view of the pink city from the sky in a hot air balloon.

Dr. Subodh Agarwal (IAS), Principal Secretary of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, who met the foreign visitors said, “We have been focusing on presenting Rajasthan to the world and build on the inherent strengths of stunning landscapes, unmatched heritage and distinctive culture. As a result of our ongoing efforts under the dynamic leadership of the Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, the vibrant state is emerging as one of the most favoured destinations of choice for tourists around the world and the visit of over 30 journalists and bloggers from 10 countries is a testimony to it. It is our every intention to harness our tourism potential for global recognition and local development.”
