Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) appointed Nijhawan Group as their India representation office led by Priyanka Nijhawan, Director-Representations, Nijhawan Group.

In 2017, India retained the top spot as the inbound source market for Dubai. Indian arrivals to Dubai recorded a landmark 16.8% growth with 2.1 million Indian travellers visiting Dubai last year. With this figure, India became the first country for Dubai to cross the two million mark in a single year, according to the latest data published by Dubai Tourism.

“The “Be My Guest” campaign which was launched last year starring Actor Shah Rukh Khan has been re-positioned for this year focusing different pillars that Dubai has to offer. Our target audience from India is varied and we receive all segments of travellers from students, women, family, solo, business, MICE and luxury travel,” said Khalid Mansoor Alawar, Assistant Manager, Proximity Markets International Operations, Dubai Tourism.

He further suggested that this year Indian visitors who want to experience real Dubai can undertake mosque tours, experience the stunning new Bulgari Resort, diverse wildlife at Dubai Safari, the picturesque Dubai Frame, XLine Dubai Marina, Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, the Camel Racing Festival, Dubai Food Festival and The Opus by Zaha Hadid.
