Headquartered out of Florida, the United States, Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line has recently tapped the Indian market. In India, the cruise brand will be represented by Travel Reps. Starting off the year with networking among the travel trade, Bahamas Paradise Cruise line engaged with tour operators and travel agents at OTM 2018 in Mumbai.

Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line operates two-night voyages out of Port of Palm Beach to Grand Bahama Island. It is also the only cruise line offering cruise and stay vacation packages, wherein guests can stay back in the Bahamas in various hotels and resorts before embarking on the return leg of the cruise. Over 2,20,000 passengers cruised with the company in the year 2016.

In an exclusive interview with Travel News Digest, Ritin Saraiya, Proprietor, Travel Reps representing Bahamas Paradise Cruise in India highlighted that various marketing and promotional activities are planned for the current year.

He stressed, “Cruise lines should be very transparent when focusing on the Indian travellers and should specify about the cuisine. We are planning to conduct training sessions to educate the travel agents so that it becomes easier for them to sell cruises.”

Right now Bahamas Paradise is new in the Indian market and wants to work for a year before organising familiarisation (FAM) trips. They plan to take some big players on the FAM trip to the US on cruise after a year.

The company was founded in late 2014 and began operating its first cruises in February 2015.
