2nd UNWTO/UNESCO World Conference on Tourism and Culture from Dec 11-12

Over 30 tourism and culture ministers, global tourism and culture leaders and stakeholders will convene at Second UNWTO/UNESCO World Conference on Tourism and Culture themed Fostering Sustainable Development, to be held in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman from December 11-12, 2017, within the framework of International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development.
There will be 500 delegates from around the globe who will be attending this conference. Its main objectives includes the promotion of sustainable cultural tourism, the development of new tourism products and addressing various issues in this line as well as enhancing cooperation among countries in the areas of common interest – basically tourism and culture, jobs creation and preservation of the natural and cultural heritage as tool for fostering understanding among nations.
This conference a product for cooperation at the international level – the first of its kind – between the World Tourism Organization and UNESCO and it will be attended by several tourism ministers, investors and businessmen from around the world.
The deadline for online registration has been extended to November 30, 2017.
