Kenya is endorsing itself as a premier wedding and honeymoon destination, in order to attract more tourists from different spheres of life and countries. Kenya Tourism Board has also confirmed exclusive packages for travellers who are looking for an exotic honeymoon escape.

KTB also participated in various events across Africa to promote Kenyan Tourism. Uganda is one of the African countries Kenya’s is targeting.

“Uganda is one of Kenya’s top tourist source markets from Africa and with a huge potential to post more arrivals into the country,” said  Kenya Tourism Board

At the end of 2016, Kenya also saw an increase of 75.7% in air arrivals closing at 51,023 visitors, up from 29,038 recorded in 2015.

The strategy to grow the market includes campaigns, use of influencers and joint initiatives.

“We will continue to leverage initiatives that keep Kenya top of mind for Ugandans,” said KTB Chief Executive Betty Radier.
