AccorHotels buys Gekko, a specialist in hotel distribution solutions for business travellers in a 100 million euros deal.

Gekko has a database of more than 500,000 hotels worldwide has more than 300 corporate customers and 14,000 business travel agencies in France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal. Gekko’s founders Stephane de Laforcade and Olivier Delouis will continue to run the company following its acquisition by Accor.

The transaction will assist Accor to build strategy aimed at improving the range of services offered to business travellers.
