Domestic and outbound sellers lend strong support to TTF Bengaluru

Among the first major travel marts post demonetisation provides unparalleled marketing opportunity for the travel trade
TTF, part of India’s oldest and largest travel show network, was held recently at Elaan Convention Center, J P Nagar, Bengaluru, where over 180 participants had set up colourful pavilions to woo travel trade and travellers from the city.
Seeing a healthy 30% growth in the exhibition area booked and the number of exhibitors, TTF Bengaluru indicated a strong business season ahead for the travel industry.
Participants from five Countries and 21 Indian States & Union Territories came to sell at TTF Bengaluru. These included state tourism boards, national tourist offices, hoteliers, airlines, tour operators and travel agents, online travel companies, railways, cruises and other travel marketers.
Host State Karnataka showcased its top destinations, tourism products, projects and initiatives in a big way. Karnataka Tourism had a large and colourful pavilion, with private sector operators as co-exhibitors.
Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh were the Partner States for the event whereas Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Jammu & Kashmir, Goa, Punjab, Jharkhand, Andaman & Nicobar were the Feature States.
The Partner Country for TTF Bengaluru was Nepal, while GoAir was the Partner Airline.
Country representations at Bengaluru included operators from Singapore, Thailand and Russia, eyeing the lucrative outbound market from Southern India.
TTF Bengaluru also had participation from Haryana, Maharashtra, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh as well as by India Tourism.
Some of the other noteworthy participants were India B2B Solutions, Sunrise Travel Port Pvt Ltd, Southern Travels Pvt Ltd, ITDC, Vythiri Resort, Itzcash, Blue Star Air Travel Services (I) Pvt Ltd, Trip To Temples and many more.

Of the three days of the event, first half of the show was reserved for the travel trade, after which it was open to public.
